I first met Naomi Ellison at a fashion gala in New York. Some people have a way of drawing your attention instantly, not through spectacle, but through confidence, ease, and clarity. Naomi had that quality immediately.

The most memorable women rarely look overdone. They look entirely like themselves.

Naomi moves through the world with intention. During our first conversation, we spoke about work, design, travel, and the relationship between personal style and identity. What stayed with me afterwards was how naturally she approached elegance. Nothing felt forced. Nothing felt overly considered. It simply belonged to her.

That balance has always interested me as a designer. I have never believed jewellery should overpower the woman wearing it. The right piece should enhance presence rather than compete for attention.

A few weeks later, we invited Naomi to be part of our editorial series, In Conversation With, a collection of conversations with women whose perspective, style, and creative lives continue to inspire us.

For Naomi, I was drawn to tiger’s eye because of its richness and warmth. The stone carries depth and character without feeling overly formal. Against soft tailoring and tonal dressing, it feels effortless and modern.

The necklace sits naturally against the collarbone, while the drop earrings bring movement and light to the face. The East West Green Amethyst Ring introduces a sharper architectural element, clean, elegant, and slightly unexpected.

What I admire most about Naomi is her sense of balance. She understands proportion, restraint, and confidence in a way that cannot be manufactured. Spending time with her reminded me that true style is rarely about excess. It comes from knowing yourself well enough to wear things naturally.

These are the women I continue to design for, women with perspective, individuality, and an instinctive understanding of elegance that feels entirely their own.

This series is an opportunity to spend time with women we genuinely admire, women with perspective, creativity, ambition, and individuality. Conversations captured naturally, in their own environments and on their own terms.

Naomi represents so much of what continues to inspire me creatively: confidence, elegance, intelligence, and an instinctive understanding of simplicity.
